Cox and Son Roofing Inc. was founded in 1970 by the owner Tim Cox. Tim spent approximately 18 years roofing in Chicago, IL and three years as an apprentice roofer before he moved back to his hometown of Hayesville, NC, and decided to put what he had learned to use. Cox and Son Roofing, Inc. is now managed and operated by his three sons; Steve, Matt, and Mark.
Cox and Son Roofing is a family owned business that has been proudly serving the Tri-State Area Area (North Carolina: Hayesville, Murphy, Andrews, Hiawassee Dam, Franklin, Swain, Cherokee, Sylva and Highlands. Georgia: Blairsville, Young Harris, and Hiawassee) since 1970. Being fully licensed and insured in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, our business has been the cornerstone of the Roofing Industry in several counties for over 47 years. Cox and Son Roofing is still continuing to provide quality service, and quality craftsmanship at an affordable price.
Our goal is to consistently provide quality roofs at quality prices for everyone. Whether it be free estimates, repairs, hail inspections, gutter cleaning, or applying a new roof. Shingle, flat, or metal, or re-roofing an entire building our mission is to leave the customer feeling satisfied and safe with no doubts at all that they called the correct company.

Read MoreSteve Cox, the oldest son, has been roofing for over 39 years and is the sales manager for the company, responsible for inside sales, as well as traveling to make outside sales/estimates, and make repairs for hopefully future clients. Steve’s favorite quote is “If you aren’t going to do something right, then don’t do it at all,” and he puts that quote to work every day as he continues to push his company towards excellence.
Matt Cox, has been roofing for over 24 years and is responsible for a lot of the outside sales/estimates and repairs that occur at Cox and Son Roofing, Inc. In addition to sales/estimates, Matt is the Roofing Specialist for the Metal Residential and Commercial roofing crews.
Mark Cox, has been working for over 24 years as well and is responsible for a lot of the outside sales/estimates and repairs that occur at Cox and Son Roofing, Inc. In addition to sales/estimates, Mark is the Roofing Specialist for the Single Ply, Modified Bitumen and Built Up Residential and Commercial roofing crews.
